Stunting in children under five is a public health problem that has an impact on physical growth, cognitive development, and the quality of human resources in the future. Stunting prevention efforts require the active involvement of the community, especially mothers as the main caregivers, to increase understanding of balanced nutrition and healthy living behaviors. This community service activity aims to increase the knowledge and awareness of mothers under five about stunting prevention through a health education intervention which was held on November 30 in Oben Village involving 50 mothers under five. The method used is a group design with a pre-test and post-test approach. The stages of the activity include filling out a pre-test questionnaire, providing educational materials about the definition, causative factors, impacts, and efforts to overcome stunting using the lecture method and leaflet media, then ending with filling out a post-test questionnaire. The results of the evaluation showed an increase in the knowledge score of mothers under five after the educational intervention. This indicates that community-based health education with the support of leaflet media is effective in increasing the understanding of mothers under five related to stunting prevention. This program can be a sustainable promotive-preventive strategy to improve the health status of toddlers and strengthen the role of the family in maintaining children's growth and development.
