Pengaruh Disiplin Kerja dan Motivasi Kerja terhadap Kinerja Karyawan

Human resources play a very important role in supporting the success of a company, as employees are the main element in determining the achievement of organizational goals. One indicator of successful human resource management is optimal employee performance. However, in reality, employee performance still varies, which is influenced by various internal and external factors. Factors that are considered to influence employee performance include work discipline and work motivation. Work discipline is related to the level of employee compliance with the rules and regulations applicable in the company, while work motivation refers to the internal drive that encourages employees to perform their tasks optimally. This study aims to determine the effect of work discipline and work motivation on employee performance at PT. Swadaya Cipta. This research uses a quantitative method with a survey approach. The population in this study consists of all employees of PT. Swadaya Cipta, with a sample of 57 respondents selected using a saturated sampling technique. The research instrument is a questionnaire that has passed validity and reliability tests, so the data obtained can be accounted for in terms of accuracy. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression with partial hypothesis testing to determine the effect of each independent variable on the dependent variable. The results show that work discipline has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, meaning that better levels of discipline tend to improve employee performance. Work motivation is also proven to have a positive and significant effect on employee performance, indicating that employees with high work motivation tend to produce more optimal performance.
