Membuat Kolase Huruf Hijaiyah dengan Memanfatkan Kertas Warna Warni di PAUD ElFarooq Quranic School

This study aims to improve creativity, fine motor skills, and the ability to recognize Hijaiyah letters in early childhood through collage activities using colorful paper. Early Childhood Education plays a crucial role in supporting children's overall development; therefore, learning methods should be creative, enjoyable, and appropriate to children's characteristics. Collage activities were selected because they provide opportunities for children to learn through direct experience, exploration, and meaningful engagement. This study employed a qualitative approach using Classroom Action Research (CAR), which was conducted through the stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The research subjects consisted of 10–15 children at ElFarooq Quranic School. Data were collected through observation, documentation, and assessment of children's work and were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model, including data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that Hijaiyah letter collage activities increased children's active participation in learning. Children became more enthusiastic, focused, and interested in recognizing Hijaiyah letters. In addition, their fine motor skills improved through cutting, pasting, and arranging materials. From cognitive and religious perspectives, children also demonstrated better recognition of the shapes and sounds of Hijaiyah letters. Therefore, Hijaiyah letter collage activities are effective as an innovative learning medium that holistically integrates artistic, cognitive, motor, and religious aspects.
