Pengaruh Persepsi Ancaman Terhadap Kecenderungan Perilaku Agresi Pada Kelompok Geng Pelajar Di Kota Medan

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh prediktif antara persepsi ancaman dan kecenderungan perilaku agresi pada anggota geng pelajar di Kota Medan serta menggambarkan tingkat kedua variabel tersebut. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif korelasional dengan desain cross-sectional. Partisipan berjumlah 347 anggota geng pelajar di Kota Medan yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan skala persepsi terhadap ancaman dan skala perilaku agresi. Persepsi ancaman diukur berdasarkan empat dimensi Integrated Threat Theory, sedangkan perilaku agresi diukur menggunakan skala yang mengacu pada Buss-Perry Aggression Questionnaire. Analisis data dilakukan dengan regresi linear sederhana. Hasil menunjukkan hubungan prediktif positif dan signifikan antara persepsi ancaman dan kecenderungan perilaku agresif (p < 0,001). Koefisien regresi sebesar 1,364 dan R² = 0,632, yang berarti persepsi ancaman menjelaskan 63,2% varians perilaku agresif. Sebagian besar partisipan berada pada kategori sedang untuk perilaku agresif (44,4%) dan persepsi ancaman (42,9%). Temuan ini mendukung Integrated Threat Theory, yang menyatakan bahwa persepsi ancaman terhadap kelompok luar berkaitan dengan respons negatif dan kecenderungan agresif. Namun, karena menggunakan desain cross-sectional, hasil tidak dapat diinterpretasikan sebagai hubungan kausal.
