This study aims to analyze the effect of pharmacist competence on pharmacist performance, with interprofessional collaboration and management support as mediating variables, among pharmacists working in primary healthcare centers (Puskesmas) and MTH Djaman Hospital in Sanggau Regency. This research employed a quantitative approach using a survey design and involved the entire population of pharmacists, totaling 57 respondents. Data were analyzed using the Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) method with the assistance of SmartPLS 4.0. The findings reveal that interprofessional collaboration does not have a significant effect on pharmacist performance and does not function as a mediating variable in the relationship between competence and performance. In contrast, management support is identified as the most dominant factor influencing pharmacist performance and serves as a partial mediator that transmits the majority of the effect of pharmacist competence on performance. These findings emphasize that improving pharmacist performance depends not only on individual competence but is strongly determined by adequate organizational support, particularly in the context of healthcare services in border areas.
